A finance graduate who found his craft in pattern precision.
I entered garments in 2022 without a textile degree or formal pattern-making course. I learned by doing: digitizing senior pattern masters’ hard patterns, grading existing work, studying corrections and gradually taking on development responsibility.

Progress built through observation, repetition and responsibility.
My BBA in Finance & Banking did not provide a conventional route into apparel. Pattern making became the place where structured thinking and practical making met. Gerber AccuMark gave me a working language: points, curves, balance, measurements and controlled change.
Today I work in the Sample department at Intercept Shirt Manufacturing Limited, part of VLR Tex Group. My work focuses on woven development—particularly shirts and overshirts—through the full sample feedback loop.
I do not present myself as a finished garment technologist. My direction is to earn that depth through stronger construction, fit, fabric and production knowledge, supported by evidence and consistent documentation.
